The club is affiliated with the COPA national group as COPA FLIGHT #165
Yearly events such as the Ice-Fly in has grown to over 100 aircraft landing on the ice in 2 days! Copa For Kids (Now Discover Aviation) was held for the first time in 2015 and had 19 kids register.
Our monthly meetings are QUARTERLY @ 1900 hrs. Check front page for next meeting date.

The membership fee to join is $50/year commencing the AGM in August each year.
Our Story
The first organizational meeting to establish The Lac La Biche Flying club was held on April 10, 2009. Ken Zachewich, Geoff Hancock, and Todd Andrews were the first original three appointed officers of the club.
Our Mission Statement is:
a: to promote general aviation safety and awareness in the Lac La Biche area
b: to provide a voice for the general aviation community in the Lac La Biche area
c: to foster positive relationships between the private flying community and the municipal government and with the local commercial air operators.
